If you’re interested in pure technical reviews of all kinds of objectives (mostly Canon lenses, but there’s a few Nikkors in there as well) head on over to PhotoZone.de.
Mind you, this is quite geeky stuff, so don’t say I didn’t warn ya.
In the mean time my Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.4 D gets a nice review, the problems with the Nikkor AF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G IF-ED VR II DX are laid bare and my personal opinion is that there is no such thing as a perfect lens.
At least for my kind of budget, that is.
That Nikkor AF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 G IF-ED DX is looking better every time I look at it.
