World of Warcraft – Europe

Well, the European Public Beta of WOW ends today. The servers have to be prepared for the official launch on February 11th. Time to say goodbye to my level 13 Tauren Druid.

As this my first experience with an MMORPG, I cannot make any comparisons to other games out there. I have to say, after a couple of hours of gameplay: I like it. Very much. The thing that strikes me the most as a first time user: the world you play in is HUGE. Enormous, actually. And so it takes forever to get anywhere at low level (that’s actually the only negative I could find).

In the second place: the design & styling of the cities & various locations, the different races themselves, the gear etc. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous. Kudos for the people at Blizzard. Excellent work!

  1. All I can say is that I aboslutely love World of Warcraft. I’ve been playing for about a year now and don’t plan on stopping. While WoW is addicting, I must say that I play for more than just the addiction, I play for the social aspect as well since a lot of my friends kick it in Azeroth! – Representing Akama – Lvl 60 Warrior
